Run the Masters of Public Health Program and serve as coordinator. This is a 12-month, term, non-tenure track faculty appointment.Mediate between the SIU MPH program and the academic partnership program. Work to structure the program curriculum to offer required courses every semester to accommodate rolling student admissions. Minimum Qualifications: Master of Public Health degree, at least five years work experience in public health, and at least one year advising students in a college or university setting. Preferred Qualifications: Teaching and supervisory experience, especially at the graduate level, and experience assigning and evaluating students in field placement settings. Familiarity with public health related settings in the region is an asset. Our main campus is 1,136 acres, with additional acreage in University Farms, Touch of Nature Outdoor Education Center, and other facilities. The campus itself is a microcosm of the area, with a lake and forest on campus, as well as traditional collegiate architecture, quad, and residential halls. Students enjoy outdoor study areas as well as specialized computer labs scattered across campus, including in the three million volume Morris Library.
