Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Qualified Assumption Processor to support our mortgage operations team. This role is responsible for processing loan assumptions, managing title communications, and assisting with loan originations. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in mortgage processing, underwriting documentation, and title coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Guide applicants through the qualified assumption process, including requirements and next steps
Review and analyze customer-submitted documentation for accuracy and completeness
Accurately input data into the underwriting system within established timelines
Submit completed applications and documentation to operations and underwriting teams
Follow standard purchase workflows through underwriting and closing
Manage the title inbox and maintain communication with title companies
Coordinate with title companies to resolve issues and obtain required documents
Assist with general loan processing and originations as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Uphold company values and contribute to a positive team culture
Qualifications
Experience in mortgage loan processing and originations
Strong understanding of mortgage underwriting conditions and automated underwriting systems
In-depth knowledge of conventional conforming, high balance, FHA, and VA loan guidelines
UST Certification strongly preferred
Familiarity with federal and state mortgage regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work onsite in Moorpark with flexibility for overtime and weekend hours

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
