Large or small, they're equipped to handle it with equal ease. One of the most versatile shops in the Midwest. They offer new mold construction, mold repair, and revisions with a full-service tool shop, and they do texturing, which is the only service of its kind in the US.
They have a great place to work with low turnover and tenured team members making it all the way to retirement successfully. They're in a good location, very clean spacious facility with about 50,000 square feet air conditioned and all the equipment is well maintained.
They advance their people to position like foreman etc., and they cross train their team members on other things that they do to develop their people. They can offer variety versus a production type role as all jobs are different. They only have milling machines, not lathes. Kitamura Makino and Arumatik-MI are a few of the machines they have, but Fanuc controls competence is desired.
The role: Mold Maker
Day and Night shfts, Mold Maker, CNC operator. Wire EDM operator. CNC Programmer.
BTW, If a candidate doesn't have their own micrometer, caliper, etcetera, they immediately assume they are not qualified.
For benefits, they have a PENSION, 401K, and they pay 70% of the health insurance costs.
The night shift starts at 5:00 PM. The day shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or at the most 5:30 PM. They do have 1/2 hour for lunch.
