Job Summary:
TRC Talent is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Final Quality Control (FQC) Technician to join our team in Cartersville. The FQC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all final assembly products meet high-quality standards before they are delivered to our customers. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to perform visual inspections, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual inspections to verify product compliance with established quality standards.
- Identify and reject products that do not meet quality specifications.
- Monitor production lines to ensure productivity and quality goals are consistently met.
- Accurately document inspection results, contributing to final product grading.
- Report any quality issues that require escalation to the Quality Technician or line supervisor.
- Ensure the production of high-quality products with minimal defects.
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings as necessary, escalating deviations to the appropriate team.
- Support fellow operators during breaks and provide coverage for other work areas when needed.
- Adhere strictly to standardized work procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and perform inspections for extended periods.
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and nights, as needed.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without restriction.
- Ability to stand and remain on feet for up to 12 hours per shift.
