Modeling Analysis Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description:

• The Integrated Missile Defense Technology Group is seeking a Systems Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer to support the ongoing development and performance analysis of the nation's missile defense systems. This role involves developing and integrating system simulation frameworks, performance and threat models, and command and control components. You will simulate system and user behaviors, model operational environments, and perform mission effectiveness analysis to support decision-making and system optimization.

• Responsibilities also include creating and utilizing graphical user interfaces and visualization tools, conducting trade studies through computer-based simulation, and potentially developing training models. You will work in close collaboration with defense contractors and government agencies to enhance and evolve missile defense system capabilities. Required Skills and Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in modeling and simulation

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development

• Strong programming skills in both Python and MATLAB (5 years each)

• Experience developing graphical user interfaces (minimum 1 year)

• Familiarity with version control tools such as GIT or SVN (minimum 3 years)

• Proficient in working with Linux or Unix operating systems (minimum 3 years)

• Master's degree in a STEM field (e.g., Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics) with at least 8 years of relevant experience

• Ability to work independently and in team environments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must currently hold an active Secret clearance (or higher) Preferred Qualifications:

• Background or experience in RF analysis

• Familiarity with signal processing techniques such as Fourier transformations and digital filters
