Model Validation Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking two Model Validation Consultants with expertise in model validation, risk management, and banking/mortgage experience. One consultant will focus on AI/ML model validation, while the other will focus on banking/mortgage experience without the AI requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate AI/ML models and banking/mortgage models.

• Produce validation reports and interact with the 1st line of defense (model owners, engineers, and governance team) and 2nd line of defense.

• Consider risk, reputational risk, data privacy, and other relevant factors in model validation.

• Assign model usages and ensure compliance with fair lending requirements and other regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• AI Model Validation Consultant:

• Experience in AI/ML model validation.

• Hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning models.

• 5 years of risk management experience.

• 3 years of AI/ML experience.

• Knowledge of model risk management and AI/ML risk management.

• Banking/Mortgage Model Validation Consultant:

• Experience in banking/mortgage model validation.

• 5 years of risk management experience.

• Knowledge of model risk management in the banking/mortgage sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Excellent communication skills.

Certifications (if any):

• Relevant certifications in model validation, risk management, or related fields are a plus.

Education: Bachelors Degree
