The mobile technology team is responsible for designing, building, supporting and involving client-facing native mobile apps for Client. We have been a key partner working with product teams to deliver excellent client experience to the millions of users.
As a team member, you will work in one or more product channels to build mobile apps that meet and exceed client's needs, work closely with product teams to pair your mobile technology knowledge with product knowledge to create creative and innovative solution that thrill customers and disrupt competitors. This role requires the Development Engineer in Test to write Mobile automation code leveraging Appium. Your responsibilities would include:
• Developing and maintaining functional test automation scripts for mobile application using Appium with Java.
• Ensuring automation is constantly running, analyzing, and promptly reporting on failures.
• Working cross-organizationally both within and with external vendors, both on and offshore to define environment requirements, identifying automation-related tools, developing and executing best automation process and practices.
• Fostering our end-to-end testing approach across multiple applications.
• Partnering with geographically distributed teams to plan our future QA tooling and technology decisions.
• Liaise with Product teams, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to integrate project plans, testing schedules, and metrics reporting. What you have
• 2+ years in Mobile Application Development
• 2-4 years of experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks
• 4+ years of developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts
• Experience with XCUI and/or Espresso
• Hands-on coding experience with Java, Kotlin, SWIFT, or other object -oriented programming languages
• Working knowledge of industry-standard tools for logging bugs and managing test cases (e.g., JIRA/MTM, Zephyr/HPQ)
• Proven ability to successfully balance and deliver multiple geographically-distributed QA projects with concurrent releases
• Solid understanding of Mobile Development on iOS and/or Android devices
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and Lean DevOps methodologies
• Financial/Trading services industry experience is a plus.
