Mobile Gas Engineer

Required: 2 x Mobile Gas Engineer

Employment type: Permanent - full time

Location: Mobile based in Devon (ideally 1x based in Plymouth, 1x based in Exeter)

Salary: Up to £44K depending on experience

We are working on behalf of a national M&E/Building Services Contractor who are looking for the following to join their team:

Job Description

Main Duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Undertake heating engineering and plumbing duties - including reactive repairs, servicing of boilers and other appliances, installations and associated maintenance works.
2. Follow relevant regulations relating to Gas Safety - including issuing notices and certificates when required, and providing information to ensure Gas Safety records are up to date.
3. Use the approved order system to acquire quotes for materials and stock from authorised suppliers.
4. Participate in the on-call system to provide 24/7 emergency cover across their property portfolio.
5. Maintain regular contact with the site supervisor and work co-ordinator.
6. Complete all relevant training as and when required by regulations.

Note: This is a mobile position to join their growing team across Devon and Somerset. The ideal candidate will work on various MoD sites across the county for reactive works and PPM. Experience working in renewables is preferred but not essential. Successful applicants will be expected to be part of the on-call rota.

Technical Experience & Qualifications

Applicants with Commercial Gas experience/qualifications are preferred, but Domestic experience will also be considered.
