A Preview of the Day-to-Day
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Intune solutions for endpoint management.
- Create and manage configuration profiles to enforce settings and restrictions on devices.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree in a job-related field and 2 or more years of job-related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job-related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, information technology, or related field and 4 years' related experience; or a minimum of six (6) years' experience supporting endpoint devices. Minimum two (2) years of experience managing devices with an MDM (modern device management) system, preferably Intune. Advanced knowledge in supporting Windows and Android is required.
At least four years of experience in Windows-based office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, and repair. Advanced knowledge of Intune. One or more of the following certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate; Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security; or similar certification. Basic knowledge of networking services and data communications: LAN/WAN connectivity using TCP/IP, VPN, SFTP, SSH, Remote desktop, and other related networking tools and concepts. Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting preferred. Knowledge of GPOs and windows imaging.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficient in supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and related hardware (desktop/laptop/tablet devices, networking equipment, peripheral devices). Working knowledge of business software: Office 365, FileMaker Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Proficient in designing, authoring, and maintaining a high-quality documentation library. Ability to independently learn and maintain skills with proficiency. Ability to provide courteous customer service, including clear verbal and written communication, to IT personnel of varying skill levels and backgrounds. Must be able to maintain pace with rapidly changing technology.
Job Duty: MDM ADMINISTRATION Design, create, implement, and manage Microsoft Intune or other MDM solutions (device enrollment, policy configuration, application deployment, etc.) for endpoint management. Create and manage configuration profiles to enforce settings and restrictions on devices. Implement conditional access policies to control access based on device compliance. Manage patching and updates for Intune-managed devices. Work with personnel in the Security Operations Center to implement security policies and configurations to protect endpoints. Manage security baselines and compliance policies to meet organizational security standards. Package and deploy applications, ensuring proper distribution and version control.

Job Duty: DOCUMENTATION Develop standard operating procedures and author documentation relevant to Device Management. Create ServiceNow knowledge articles to ensure all university areas have access to best practices and workflows needed for successful device management. Develop documentation relevant to all aspects of the Intune infrastructure, including infrastructure dependencies, customizations, design decisions, repeatable maintenance tasks, and logs of completed tasks.

Job Duty: DESKTOP SUPPORT Manage/evaluate the local GPOs and help migrate them to the MDM solution. Assist the Desktop support team as SME for MDM. Review and manage the device imaging process.
