Job Description Summary:

The candidate will work with Draper's Software Engineering Division with a focus on mission and safety critical application development in domains of communication systems and vehicle systems (undersea, terrestrial, air, hypersonics and space). The intern will participate in the full software development life cycle, from architecture conceptualization, through development, testing and release. Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and enhancement engineering solutions for challenging problems.
  • Implement, test, perform analysis, and provide documentation support.
  • Generate and present test reports including plots, tables, evaluation criteria, and conclusions from data collected and analyzed throughout the test process.
  • Complete assignments designed to develop a practical knowledge of processes, procedures, equipment, facilities, and systems as well as their interrelationships within engineering disciplines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Program Requirements
  • Enrolled in an accredited full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program required.
  • There is flexibility regarding hours and program duration based on applicant's school schedule and availability.
Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to ever-changing environments, risks, and vulnerabilities.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Additional Job Description:

This internship will be onsite at Draper's Cambridge, MA campus, with the ability to occasionally work from home.

Qualifications
  • Competency in C/C , or other programming language
  • Understanding of the product development and engineering project lifecycle (requirements development through Verification and Validation)
Experience withUML/SysMLa plus.

Applicants selected for this position may be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Pay Range: $28.00 - $39.00/hr.

Full Time: 40 hours/week

Duration: 5/19/2025 - 8/29/2025

No commute stipend.
