Mission Engineer with Security Clearance

We're seeking a seasoned Mission Engineer (ME) to lead customer engagements and design end-to-end technical solutions that address complex challenges in the national security enterprise.
As an ME, you'll serve as a critical bridge between operators, analysts, and engineering teams, translating mission needs into impactful, tech-driven outcomes. Responsibilities

• Translate mission challenges into technical solutions by collaborating with operators, analysts, and engineering teams.

• Identify and shape operational use cases that can benefit from AI/ML capabilities.

• Engage with leadership, developers, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission objectives.

• Drive feedback loops between end users and technical teams to ensure solutions remain relevant and effective.

• Support field testing, performance evaluations, and operational deployment in a fast-paced, iterative environment. Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (preferred).

• 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Strong background in software engineering.

• Familiarity with:
o Data structures and storage systems
o Cloud infrastructure
o Front-end frameworks
o Other modern technical tools

• Clear understanding of how technical decisions impact end users.

• Proven ability to operate in classified environments and interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with AI/ML systems and operational applications (highly preferred).

• Prior military or IC/DoD experience (strong plus).

• Willingness to travel as needed.
