Job Summary The Mini Bar Attendant is responsible for maintaining and restocking the mini bar in our hotel rooms and bungalows, ensuring it is stocked with appropriate beverages, snacks, and supplies. The Mini Bar Attendant ensures that all items are clean, functional, and properly accounted for, and they may assist with guest requests related to mini bar.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities - Ensuring all rooms are fully stocked with required minibar items.
- Ensuring that minibar menus are current, in clean and defect-free state and placed by the minibar items in each room.
- Strictly abide by state liquor regulations.
- Maintain Services and facilities (i.e., hours of operation, menus, price range):
- Cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas; rectify any deficiencies.
- Knowledge of P.O.S. and manual systems for processing and billing respective guest room usage of all minibar products consumed by guests.
- Generate and distribute charges for Minibar use in each guestroom utilizing the POS system.
- Process designated paperwork at the end of each shift and follow-up with front desk team to ensure all charges are posted correctly.
- Maintain security of designated keys.
- Monitor all minibar inventories and submit requisition(s) for all increase in stock for storage closet to ensure product is on hand for replacement of consumed items in guest rooms.
- Verify product dating to ensure no expired product is on display in guest rooms.
- Communicate on monthly Waste Log tracking sheets all expired / discarded minibar products.
- Keeping detailed logs of expired items & upcoming expired items for minibar.
- Keeping detailed records of inventory throughout the month.
- A key requirement for this role is punctuality, including showing up on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work, and adhering to all rest and meal break standards as well as the company's attendance policy.
Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional education in hospitality, customer service, or a related field may be preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or food and beverage service is preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with inventory management and maintaining detailed records is an asset.
- Familiarity with mini bar operations or front desk services is a plus.
Skills/Specialized Knowledge - Excellent customer service skills.

- Knowledge of the hotel's offerings, such as beverages, snacks, and other mini bar products.

Physical Demands - The Mini Bar Attendant may work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the hotel's operation hours.
- This role involves walking or standing for long periods and handling light lifting when restocking items.
