Time Type: Full Time Starting Pay: $23 / HR Job Location: 710 FM 306, New Braunfels, TX 78130 SUMMARY:
Trained in assembly operations of products such as interior & exterior doors, metal & patio doors, special order doors, as well as millwork trim molding orders. Able to perform service in field on any Millwork issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Others duties may be assigned.
• Drives truck or van to repair stock and special order doors, including millwork trim for McCoy customers, both McCoy retail facilities and commercial contractors.
• Places all required and necessary parts for McCoy's products together in specified relationship to each other as instructed.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, rivet, compound, trim, saw, or otherwise fasten required parts together.
• Must be able to work on assembly line where tasks and job duties may vary as different product lines are produced.
• Attends all millwork meetings and training sessions as required by management.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures of McCoy Corporation while carrying out responsibilities of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one & small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, & percent, and ability to draw & interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems, involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• General carpentry & millwork knowledge preferred.
WORK AVAILABILITY:
• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level, as is determined by management.
• Must be regularly available and willing to work at least 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, or such other hours per day or hours per week as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
• Must be available and willing to work such overtime per day or week as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
• Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
