We are looking for a talented Millwork Product Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing high-quality millwork products that set industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Innovative Design: Create and develop millwork products that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
  • Precision Engineering: Produce detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing, utilizing your expertise in CAD software.
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance product quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct material and product testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Technical Support: Provide guidance and technical support to production teams and other departments, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Industry Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously improve product designs.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • CAD Proficiency: Expertise in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) for creating detailed engineering drawings.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel: Including advanced formula creation, data analysis, and spreadsheet modeling.
  • Material Knowledge: Strong understanding of materials used in millwork, including wood, laminates, resins, and composites.
  • Manufacturing Insight: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques related to millwork production.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude: Ability to apply complex calculations and spatial reasoning to support precise product design and engineering specifications.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Project Development: Experience with project management and product development.
  • Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to millwork products.
  • Certifications: Certification in relevant areas (e.g., PMP, LEED) is a plus.
