We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as Military Operations (Junior to Craftsman) levels available at multiple locations (National Capital Region, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA, Offutt AFB, Base, NE and Kirtland AFB, NM) Contingent Upon Award PAY: $88,000 - $176,000 JOB SUMMARY: Military Analyst provides full time support regarding development, evaluation and integration of current and future warfighting concepts, force structure, design and CONOPS decisions affecting the multi-domain environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Ensures operational integration across the military spectrum of operations is synchronized with the programmatic and technical requirements. Reviews, formulates and develops policies, strategies, plans and roadmaps in support of DOD/IC doctrine as well as civil and commercial activities. Provides U.S. policymakers with analysis of foreign military forces, their structure, capabilities, doctrine, weapons systems, plans and tactics, as well as on global strategic military trends. Analysts frequently provide briefings and written analysis to senior military leaders. Informs strategic intelligence, analyzing data and reports, and making recommendations for policy initiatives, typically focusing on foreign military forces, capabilities, and global strategic trends. Provides analytical expertise to projects involving training, tactical/operational documentation, military systems design or other efforts requiring military operations expertise. Researches, identifies, and makes recommendations about resources required for task execution and completion. Gathers, processes, and analyzes operational data. Assists with the testing and development of new systems or updates to existing systems to meet client needs. Identifies and recommends emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes. Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas. Provides support to operational integration and analysis through injection of military doctrine, planning and policies considerations influencing technical interoperability across the DOD and IC. Oversees programmatic and technical considerations through highlights of DOD, IC, civil and commercial considerations as well as foreign influence/impact on military applications and systems. Oversees development of CONOPS for integration across the joint spectrum of military operations. Oversees trade analysis across the DOTMLPF-P requirements to mitigate capability shortfalls and integrates the requirements after approval across all warfighting domains and echelons. Develops operational architectures in support of joint warfighting concepts. Provides military planning expertise to engineers, analysts, testers REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Requires experience in military operation planning at tactical, operational, strategic or national levels and may require experience with joint and combined operations. Experience formulating and applying mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. Experience collecting and analyzing data and developing decision support software, services, or products. Experience developing and supplying optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation. Has in-depth knowledge of DOD, Agency, and/or industry standards EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's degree or the related combination of education and experience that provides knowledge and exposure to the fundamental theories, principles and concepts within the specified discipline. May be entry level for those with an advanced degree. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
