Inventory SpecialistFarmington Hills, MIYour Role at YES: The Inventory Specialist reports to the Inventory Director and handles home inventory management, maintains process efficiencies, and data integrity to ensure accuracy. The Inventory Specialist also supports YES operations by providing timely inventory information and reporting.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Manage all aspects of incoming and outgoing home inventory including new home orders and used home purchases
- Review and approve all new home invoices for appropriate coding and to verify location of assets
- Research inventory discrepancies and inquires within multiple systems to maintain data integrity
- Collect and consolidate various manufacturer offline unit production information
- Generate and analyze inventory reports on a weekly/monthly basis
- Collaborate with other departments to understand workflow processes & achieve ongoing company objectives
- Data entry of inventory into the systems/network
- Other duties and special projects as required and assigned by management
To Achieve Success at YES: As an Inventory Specialist you must be pleasant, professional, and well-spoken. You must also be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. It is also important to display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
