Langston Middle School in Oberlin is looking for a Middle School Football Coach. Candidates should have previous successful middle school or high school coaching experience. The Middle School Coach must be organized, hard-working, and demonstrate a strong desire to build a program at all levels. The Middle School Coach will help oversee all phases of the football program including, but not limited to, player development, monitoring academic success, staff development and mentoring, college recruiting process, community relations, youth football league, and equipment inventory.

The successful candidate will provide leadership to the team that achieves academic and athletic success on a consistent basis. The Middle School Coach monitors academic progress; develops training programs that are safe and effective for student-athletes; schedules games and practices in accordance with school policies.

Employment is pursuant upon appropriate background checks and the obtainment of proper CPR, Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion Management Training, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Pupil Activity Supervision Licensure from the Ohio Department of Education.
