We're looking for a Software Engineer to support the development and sustainment of mission-critical software systems across the Navy's machinery lifecycle management infrastructure. You'll work across the stack, supporting real-time data applications and long-range system scalability.
Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and sustain software applications supporting machinery lifecycle operations
- Write clean, modular code using modern programming languages
- Participate in design reviews and provide implementation strategies for feature integration
- Support database architecture and UI development
- Manage configuration control using versioning platforms such as Git or SVN
- Collaborate with Navy stakeholders to ensure software aligns with operational goals and architecture standards
Qualifications: - Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with a CS focus
- 5+ years of experience in computer systems development and network architecture
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Visual Basic, .NET, C , JavaScript, Golang
- Familiarity with software version control systems and system testing frameworks
- Experience working within DoDAF standards and Navy systems integration
