Mid Level Provider Wyoming County Primary Care

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

A. Graduation from a state approved Nurse Practitioner program OR an approved Physician Assistant program, and

B. Current RN and Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the state of New York OR current Physician Assistant license, and

C. One year of experience in the practice setting preferred, and

D. Current BLS Certification.

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: The Mid-Level Provider, either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, in collaboration with a clinic physician, provides appropriate comprehensive care to both well and ill patients. Functions as a practitioner, consultant, role model, researcher and educator, ensuring quality patient care and outcomes. Coordinates optimal resources within the multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, managers, receptionist, clients/patients and families. Participates in continuous quality improvement and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy. All practices and patient/client care decisions will be consistent with established hospital policy and procedures, JCAHO and all state and federal laws. Represents WCCHS in a positive, professional manner with a commitment to customer service.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
