As a Network Engineer you will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in working with a variety of network devices, including repeaters, bridges, routers, gateways, and hubs. Additionally, they should possess a strong working knowledge of virtualized, networked environments, with specific expertise in VMWare and HyperV-based systems.

You're like to do this: - Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Configure and manage virtualized environments using VMWare and HyperV technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
- Integrate security COTS products, including firewalls, web gateways, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems, into the network architecture.
- Conduct regular network performance monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Implement network security measures and protocols to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve network infrastructure and security practices.
You're required to have this: - Ten (10) years experience in network administration.
- Minimum seven (7) years experience with computer networking protocols including, but not limited to TCP, IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP, and DNS.
- Five (5) years of experience with integrated processing environments.
- Cisco certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE).
Salary Range: $100,000 - $170,000 The BlueHalo pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
