We are currently searching for a talented IT Technical Support professional at Ft Meade, MD

About the Job

We have a exciting opportunity for an IT Technical Support professional in Ft Meade, MD. Must be willing to work Monday - Friday 11 am - 7 pm shift.

Responsibilities
  • Provides technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software
  • May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals
  • Apply basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions
  • Provides remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites
  • Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow-up problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure
  • Modifies, moves, and installs new equipment
  • Performs technical tasks and provides site support.
  • Performs integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems
  • Will interface with our Tier 2 technical support team and our Availability Management team to escalate any issues that require additional assistance to resolve
  • Will perform Data Transfer Agent requests to transfer files between networks.
Requirements
  • Must have Top Secret / SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • IAT Level 1 certification. Preferred CompTIA A+ CE or CompTIA Network+ CE.
  • Experience with Hardware Installation, Microsoft Windows Software Applications and Microsoft Windows System Administration
U.S Citizenship with Top Secret / SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
