Mid-Level Geoint Basemaps Analyst with Security Clearance

Mid-Level GEOINT BASEMAPS Analyst Position Requirement:
• MUST BE A US CITIZEN
• ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED
• 5-7 YEARS of EXPERIENCE WITH PERFORMING THIS ROLE AT THE NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY REQUIRED Staffing Requirement: Successful candidates will be responsible for providing on-site
leadership/guidance to a team and performing geospatial analysis support
services and products. Duties:
• Support the production of NGA Streets, Canvas Suite Basemaps, and Overlays in both raster and vector tile production formats.

• Run automated processes, including but not limited to: o Run automated/semi-automated to support the pre-processing of Basemaps foundation data o Run other automated/semi-automated processes as they are developed

• Examine NGA workflows and determine if processes can be more efficient. Assist NGA in the development of new workflows to realize the efficiencies.
• Test possible improved workflows from external sources (e.g. ESRI).
• Provide monthly/quarterly production metrics, and incorporate metrics, analyst progress/performance metrics, resource management, and project milestones and timelines for SFCAC , projects
• Provide data file management services during the production process, including but not limited to: o Document and assess data deliveries o Document scripts, codes, and models o Perform data ingest and load to NGA system o Manage data content and holdings
• Provide expertise in schema mapping, data manipulation/editing, metadata tagging,
• Provide data services optimization
• Identify and resolve technical problems that arise during each Basemaps production cycle.
• Conflate and/or merge GEOINT content as needed to efficiently publish Basemaps
• Assist lower level team members in developing GEOINT Analyst tradecraft skill in order to meet contract requirements. Skills and Education Required:
• Demonstrated 5-7 years of experience writing and applying SQL queries
• Demonstrated experience using ArcGIS and extensions
• Knowledge and skills necessary to edit, merge and or conflate geospatial data
• Demonstrated experience working with minimal oversight while leading smaller teams accomplishing goals/tasks.
• Experience in visualization and web cartography. ,
• Proficient in using Open Source software (e.g. QGIS, OpenGEO / Geoserver, PostGIS

• Knowledge and experience working with NGA Foundation GEOINT data and products

• Familiarity with Feature Manipulation Engine (FME)

• Knowledge and skills working with ESRI Spatial Database Engine (SDEs) 3
