Microsoft Windows System Administrator (Secret) with Security Clearance

Position Title: Microsoft Windows System Administrator Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO Relocation Assistance: None available at this time Remote/Telework: No - Not available for this position Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance Work Schedule: Day shift - May require on-call support and occasional off-hours work for maintenance or incident response Travel: Up to 10% of the time Position Summary: Aegis Aerospace is currently seeking a Microsoft Windows System Administrator to join our team supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Key Responsibilities: The candidate will: Perform daily and weekly system health checks on the FILAN (Facilities Infrastructure Local Area Network) Windows and network infrastructure to ensure proper system functionality. Monitor events using server management and patching tools, and respond appropriately to system alerts and performance data. Attend crew/team, staff, change, and configuration meetings. Support continuous improvement efforts by automating routine administrative functions when feasible. Administer Microsoft servers, workstations, and network infrastructure including troubleshooting, patching, and break/fix activities. Conduct system audit log reviews as required. Coordinate with other teams to resolve Remedy Incidents, address system errors or user issues, and ensure proper resource utilization and system performance. Perform system modifications, upgrades, and maintenance activities as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Must be a US Citizen Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance Must have 2 or more years of experience designing, integrating, or managing complex infrastructure solutions (e.g., VMware, Citrix, LAN/WAN design) Must have experience as a Windows systems engineer/administrator supporting a large enterprise, including knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server 2012R2/2016, and WSUS/SCCM Patch Management Must have general networking experience including switching and routing Must have a current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification or higher Compensation: Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 annually.
