We have an exciting new opportunity for a Microsoft Engineer to join our growing Data Center Practice. The Microsoft Engineer will plan, design, implement and maintain Microsoft solutions that meet our clients' diverse business needs. The engineer will be experienced in both cloud and on-premise IT systems and will promote innovative solutions for our clients. This role requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.

Some responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop and implement Microsoft-based solutions, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Azure, and other related technologies
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, provide technical guidance, and recommend appropriate Microsoft solutions
  • Provide advanced technical support for Microsoft-related issues, resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Conduct training sessions for clients and team members on Microsoft technologies and best practices
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve service delivery
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and other locations as needed
  • All other duties, as assigned
Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, scripting languages (PowerShell), and networking concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and support
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at any given time
Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and Azure
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, MCSD, or Azure certifications preferred
  • Prior experience working in Professional Services for an IT Consulting company
