TalentFish is casting a line for a Senior Microsoft Application Analyst.
This is a full-time remote opportunity with our premier healthcare client. This role has opened due to company growth, ongoing modernization efforts, and adoption of new technologies

s a Senior Microsoft Application Analyst, you'll play a key role in managing and supporting business applications and integrated systems. You'll work closely with users to identify and analyze requirements, and you'll be responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining information systems using Microsoft applications. In addition, you'll help recommend technology solutions and process improvements, identify data gaps, and implement optimal solutions to support the organization's evolving needs.

What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field. Additional relevant experience can be used in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 years of system analysis and/or application support experience.
  • bility to provide solutions, training and end-user support for MS Teams, MS Forms, 365 Copilot, Teams Apps, SharePoint Online and Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate is strongly desired.
  • Experience with application configuration tools.
  • Experience evaluating and interpreting end user information requirements and developing appropriate systems and/or applications solutions.
  • Experience recording, tracking, corresponding, and documenting resolution of user problems by means of problem reporting database software.
  • bility to develop technical documentation for training, software/hardware use, user procedures, and as-required project deliverables.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)
  • Train end users on use of Microsoft applications with a focus on MS Teams, MS Forms, Office 365, Copilot, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Create and configure new SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, and forms.
  • Recommend applications or modifications while analyzing, interpreting and documenting requirements for complex business problems.
  • Provide problem-solving expertise and analysis to design, build, and document workflows using Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • dminister SharePoint, monitor and report on overall usage, and ensure high availability and security of SharePoint and related systems (both OnPrem and Cloud).
  • Perform ad-hoc testing of custom or third-party software and follow company guidelines for programming and documentation.
  • Participate in 24x7 support rotation which includes processing of tickets assigned to the team via ServiceNow as well as requests sent directly to the team and on-call support.
  • Crosstrain junior team members to increase their skillset in a MS 365 environment.
  • Command of a functional grouping of modules and the inter working relationships with other modules. Provide recommendations and solutions to issues requiring understanding of multiple functional disciplines.
  • Participate and lead requirements analysis sessions, develop design specifications for reports, application configuration and make business process design recommendations.
  • Participate and lead in process workflow sessions and develop workflow maps, perform quality review on team members' design artifacts.
  • Investigate user problems and needs, identify their source, perform troubleshooting and problem solving, and determine viable solutions.
  • nalyze user project proposals to include identifying potential problem areas and recommend optimum approaches for project path.
  • Identify tasks and levels of effort for the implementation of solutions.
  • Lead system unit testing, integration testing and regression testing for enhancements, new functionality and upgrades.
  • Report project activity and status to management and identify, resolve and escalate project and operational issues.
  • Provide information to Education content developers as needed to support training activities. Provide instruction to end-users and conduct educational events.
  • Coordinate with vendors on the implementation or support of products.
Compensation and Employment
Salary range for this role is 100K- 110K yearly salary based on skills and experience level.
