Position Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator to lead, manage, and optimize our IT infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft 365, Entra, Intune, Azure, and cloud-based enterprise systems. This role is key to ensuring the performance, security, and availability of our critical business applications and supporting global operations.


Key Responsibilities


1. Systems Environment Support

  • Lead installations, upgrades, and customizations of OS and application software.
  • Deploy and maintain physical and virtual servers.
  • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve system performance and capacity issues.
  • Ensure infrastructure is secure, documented, and aligned with company policy.
  • Support the ManageEngine ITSM platform and backup strategies.

2. System Stability & Performance

  • Proactively identify and resolve system or application stability risks.
  • Apply and test OS and hardware patches.
  • Conduct postmortem reviews for major outages and implement preventive measures.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies for continuous improvement.

3. Client & User Support

  • Provide critical support for business users and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory, Entra and Nexus.
  • Troubleshoot complex software/hardware issues in coordination with Help Desk staff.

4. System Architecture & Strategy

  • Design and document scalable IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Act as a technical advisor for internal IT staff and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in vendor/product evaluations and make recommendations.

5. Hardware Configuration

  • Configure and deploy physical and virtual infrastructure.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on network and server hardware.

Essential Qualifications


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of progressive IT systems administration experience.

Technical Expertise

  • Microsoft Intune experience required
  • Strong background in Microsoft 365 & Azure, including:

Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)

Conditional Access

Exchange Online

Teams

Cloud workloads, VMs, and networking

  • Proficiency in Active Directory, Hyper-V, and enterprise-grade infrastructure
  • Up-to-date on emerging technologies in networking and cybersecurity
  • Experience with HP/Cisco server hardware (preferred)
