AAA Club Alliance is currently seeking a Microsoft 365 Services Manager to join our organization here in Wilmington, DE or Cincinnati, OH.

This position will require on-site and remote work

The primary duties of the Microsoft 365 Services Manager are to:
  • Work with management and technical leadership to develop and execute the roadmap for Microsoft 365 services, ensuring alignment with ACA's IT and business strategies.
  • Drive adoption and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Office 365 to enhance productivity and collaboration.
  • Manage and support identity (Azure Active Directory) and domain architecture.
  • Responsible for managing all Microsoft and other vendor licensing, ensuring compliance and optimization across the organization. Management of the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA), including leadership in negotiations, renewals, and cost management.
  • Lead the administration, monitoring, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 tenant configuration, hybrid integrations (as needed), and service management practices.
  • Define and implement automation strategies, leveraging PowerShell, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 administration tools.
  • Develop and maintain M365 security policies, including conditional access, identity protection, data loss prevention (DLP), and email security policies.
  • Ensure effective data governance and compliance across Microsoft 365 services, including retention, eDiscovery, and legal hold processes.
  • Manage a team responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and securing Microsoft 365 services, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with IT policies. This includes recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead Department operational, financial, and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
  • Establish and maintain operational SLAs and KPIs for service uptime, performance, and user support.
  • Work closely with IT support teams to streamline troubleshooting and incident response for Microsoft 365 services, including participation in the on-call manager rotation/schedule.
  • TQS5 and PCI Compliance participant, including providing evidence for quarterly and yearly audit(s).
  • Implement recommended security models (zero trust, etc.), identity protection, and advanced threat protection within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem as recommended by security and compliance, and according to funded budgets.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years managing Microsoft 365 services in an enterprise environment required.
  • Proven experience in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD administration.
  • Experience with cloud governance, automation, and Microsoft security frameworks.
  • Previous leadership or managerial experience in IT infrastructure or cloud services required.
  • Experience with third-party M365 management tools (e.g., Quest, AvePoint, Veeam).
  • Microsoft 365 and ITIL v4 Certifications (i.e., Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure Administrator Associate) preferred.
