Metrologist

Description

Perform duties as Metrologist/Quality Engineer for all customer programs within the Inteva Gadsden Facility

Gage calibration and record keeping using PLEX

In house calibration/verification of DC torque tooling, simple gages, and fixtures

External certification of gages from quote to record retention

Gage R&R

SPC

Metrology responsibility for all programs and customers

Programming using PC-DMIS software

Use and maintenance of Hexagon vertical arm CMM

Analyze and communicate measurement reports both written and verbally

Position Requirements

Required:

Ability to effectively communicate with customer.

Proficient in: Word, Power Point , Excel, Minitab

Basic problem solving skills

Preferred:

Knowledge of CMM operation and programming (both scanning and bridge machines)

Engineering or Technical Degree
