Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop single crystal products, leveraging expertise in foundry, casting, metallurgy, and industrial furnace operations.
  • Manage component manufacturing documentation, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and securing necessary approvals.
  • Address and resolve issues related to manufacturing and testing of single crystal components.
  • Define equipment specifications, refine manufacturing techniques, and integrate new process equipment to improve production efficiency.
  • Review engineering changes and collaborate with production planning and engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Propose modifications to design and development processes to enhance the quality of single crystal products.
  • Create detailed engineering schematics and parts lists to support manufacturing planning and execution.
  • Evaluate production practices and methods, providing recommendations for improvements and conducting time and method analyses.
  • Lead initiatives to drive product and process improvements, ensuring all commitments are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in a relevant role.
  • Strong understanding of various engineering concepts and principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office, technical modeling software, and statistical analysis tools.
