Title or Role: MES Syncade Recipe Authoring Specialist

Location: Branchburg, NJ

Length of Contract: 1 Year


Position Description: As a Recipe Author, responsible for the design and development of Syncade MES recipes, including integration with control systems to support automated manufacturing processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Author and maintain Syncade MES recipes using Recipe Authoring and Resource Editor to support manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and modify computer system validation (CSV) documentation, including functional specifications and UAT test scripts.
  • Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for MES recipes and ERP system changes to ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Provide direct ERP and MES support to internal teams including Manufacturing, Planning, Inventory Control, QA/QC, Global Master Data Management, and IT.
  • Troubleshoot both routine and complex MES and ERP system issues; provide periodic on-call support for emergent system needs.
  • Assist in the design, testing, and maintenance of electronic batch records (EBRs) and related ERP master data (items, specs, recipes, formulas, routings, etc.).
  • Maintain and execute change controls and master data change requests for MES recipe configurations and ERP updates.
  • Support the recipe release process to ensure compliant, efficient, and reliable batch records that meet evolving manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environments.
  • Proficient in Windows OS, including Secure Desktop features and system navigation.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for task automation and system management.
  • Strong understanding of GMP regulations and experience working in GxP-compliant environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and compliance

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) preferred.
