Merchandiser/ Planner

Euclid Beverage, LLC is the largest Molson Coors distributor in Illinois. We currently distribute brands from over 65 domestic, craft, and import suppliers of beer, wine, and spirits. Our two state-of-the-art facilities service more than 3,800 retail customers in 25 counties across the state of Illinois. We provide seamless sales, marketing, and distribution opportunities for the top domestic, craft, and specialty beverage suppliers. Privately owned by the same family for over 40 years.

Job Summary:
The Sales Category Planner leverages their combined beverage industry knowledge and planning skills to create merchandising space in existing and new stores. This role works in partnership with Euclid's Sales and Marketing departments.

Essential Functions:

• Ensures Euclid achieves maximum display space and resets are constructed to promote dominance of all product categories.

• Ensures exceptional customer service is maintained for all accounts.

• Reviews and analyzes store mapping/survey information in preparation for resets.

• Completes all store resets as assigned by the District Manager or VP of Sales/Marketing.

• Performs quality checks on date codes, rotating stock, and placing display products to ensure adherence to plan-o-gram. Duties also include the replacement of decals, reordering of price tags and ads, placing the point of purchase material, dusting, and cleaning shelves.

Required Education and Experience:

• Able to read and understand plan-o-grams.

• Must be multi-task oriented and able to act as the liaison between marketing and sales.

• Ability to demonstrate superior organizational skills, effective negotiation, and listening skills.

• Ability to recognize the changing dynamics of the beverage display landscape and seek out opportunities for integration within different areas of the account's business.

• Customer service oriented with the ability to maintain a positive attitude in all situations.

• Possess beverage supplier-specific product knowledge and can communicate that knowledge to other Euclid personnel when requested.

• Maintains a current driver's license needed to operate Euclid equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stay on your feet for extended periods of time.

• Able to lift 60 lbs.

• Able to stretch and bend.

Compensation:

• $39,000 - $44,000
