Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative and analytical Merchandiser to lead the selection, presentation, and performance analysis of our product offerings. This role is perfect for someone who has a strong eye for trends, a passion for unique, expressive merchandise, and the ability to translate consumer insights into buying decisions. You'll be instrumental in curating collections that resonate with our wide audience, while ensuring data-driven performance and inventory alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and select unique, on-trend accessories from new and established vendors.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising and marketing teams to create engaging product presentations.
- Analyze sales data and create reports to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities.
- Manage product assortments and replenishment strategies in alignment with seasonal and consumer trends.
- Work closely with inventory and POS systems to track performance metrics and report findings.
- Monitor industry trends and competitors to keep the product mix fresh and competitive.
- Assist in pricing strategies, markdown planning, and promotional initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of merchandising experience in a retail or fashion/accessory-related environment.
- Strong creative instincts with a passion for trend spotting and aesthetic merchandising.
- Proficiency in POS and inventory management systems; ability to extract and interpret & present sales data to leadership.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Strong communication and vendor relationship management skills.
