Position Summary As a Merchandise Driver, you will be responsible for delivering pre-ordered products to designated accounts, as well as ensuring products are rotated and stocked according to our high standards.
Key Responsibilities - Verify the accuracy and stability of the delivery load.
- Deliver products to customers efficiently.
- Merchandise, display, and rotate products in compliance with company standards.
- Invoice customers and collect payments.
- Retrieve company property as needed.
- Safeguard company assets.
- Adhere to regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Complete all account settlements on a daily basis.
Qualifications - Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Class A Driver's License is required.
- 1-3 years of general work experience required.
- Minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience.
- Local delivery experience is a plus.
- Experience in grocery stores and/or consumer products is advantageous.
- Ability to operate a two or four-wheel dolly.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations is necessary.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must maintain a driving record that adheres to MVR policy guidelines.
- Physical ability to lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds, reach overhead, and perform various tasks including standing, walking, kneeling, and bending.
