THE ROLE Our retail employees are responsible for creating the ultimate game day experience for the fan. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Provide an exciting, positive, and fun environment for our diverse team & fan base
- Greet guests & ascertain their interest, so you may make sales recommendations
- Excellent accuracy when using POS systems
- Demonstrate ownership in cleaning, re-stocking, & any other tasks assigned by supervisor
- Present merchandise to increase sale with add on items
- Must be able to describe merchandise features, benefits, and explain use
- Keep current on promotions & sales in store: and events at the ballpark
- Continually increase knowledge of product, theme nights and the IronPigs team performance
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS - Previous Retail Experience in a fast paced environment
- Welcoming, outgoing and friendly demeanor
- Comfortable with light up selling
- Professional and clean look
- Merchandising Skills is a plus
- Must be available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
- Open Availability is a Major Plus
COMPENSATION Part Time seasonal at a rate of $10.00 per hour. Discounts in the team store and complimentary IronPigs Game tickets
WORKING CONDITIONS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear; use hands to finger, and handle controls. Employees may be stationed in or outside the store depending on the needs of the business
