Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily field operations to ensure timely completion of project milestones and deadlines
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades to maintain project schedules and quality standards
- Enforcing compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Performing regular site inspections and maintaining comprehensive documentation
- Collaborating with project managers, architects, and clients to address and resolve issues efficiently
- Fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence on-site
- Willingness to travel to current projects in Virginia and South Carolina, with plans to eventually settle in Washington, DC.
Profile
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing or executing heavy mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects, including new construction and retrofits such as chiller installations, industrial-spec AHU replacements, boiler work, and duct demolition/replacement.
- Experience managing government projects.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Expertise in reading, interpreting, and updating construction drawings.
- Proficiency in PlanGrid, Ranken, and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Dedication to upholding rigorous safety and quality standards.
