A leading construction management firm is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to support its growing portfolio of mission critical/data center projects across the United States. Current projects are located in the Western, Midwestern, and Northeastern regions.
The MEP Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of high-end renovations and new construction projects, with a strong focus on quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide oversight of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems throughout the construction management process.
Manage project staff and serve as the primary liaison among clients, tenants, and design teams.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation related to project execution.
Lead MEP trade coordination and execution.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and reporting deliverables.
Perform final review of project elements including bids, vendor selection, and cost estimates.
Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices; handle negotiations as needed.
Prepare and process client change orders; communicate all changes to subcontractors.
Oversee closeout documentation including warranties, as-builts, and final payment processing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
10-15 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
Strong mechanical and/or electrical background required.
Experience working for or with subcontractors is welcomed.
Proficiency with BIM-related tools such as Navisworks, Revit, or equivalent is expected.
