Bouygues UK has an exciting opportunity for an experienced MEP Manager to work on projects based in West London. In this role, you will manage the performance of MEP contractors on site, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards, project schedules, and quality expectations. You will also oversee package interfaces, technical subcontractors, and coordinate with the site management team, reporting to the Project Director. Candidates should have a background in electrical or mechanical engineering and demonstrate proven capability in managing a total MEP package valued at £16m, including main and CDP packages.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Procure, manage the design, and oversee production until handover of MEP packages, including testing and commissioning.
- Experience managing MEP subcontractors and packages across multiple sites or blocks.
- Proven experience in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
- Experience working with a main contractor or large MEP subcontractor.
- Relevant Building Services qualifications (Mechanical and Electrical) are advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and IT literacy.
Job Purpose and Scope
- Procure, coordinate, and supervise all M&E activities on site.
- Manage all M&E works with an emphasis on:
- Health & Safety
- Quality (as per Bouygues UK's management system)
- Programme adherence
- Coordinate daily with other trades.
