Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Project Manager with a strong background in HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial new build projects. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of mechanical construction, from pre-construction through project completion, ensuring successful execution within budget, scope, and schedule.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee HVAC and plumbing scopes of work on commercial new build projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and contract documents.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and design teams to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, local building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Lead project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and key milestones.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges proactively, maintaining cost and schedule efficiency.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to company standards throughout the construction process.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to field teams and junior project staff.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction (HVAC & plumbing required).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, installation methods, and best practices.
  • Experience managing commercial new build projects, including coordination with general contractors.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
