Job Summary The Membership Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving membership growth, coordinating sales initiatives, and providing outstanding customer service to current and prospective members. This individual will assist in the promotion of membership offerings, track leads, follow up on inquiries, make renewal calls and assist with all membership activation and engagement activities. This role will support the admissions department with box office ticket sales and guest services duties.
Job Responsibilities - Essential Job Duties
- Membership Sales: Actively promote and sell membership packages to prospective members through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions.
- Lead Management: Track and follow up with leads to convert inquiries into memberships. Maintain an organized pipeline of potential members.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about membership benefits, services, and pricing.
- Enrollment Process: Manage the membership sign-up process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Membership Fulfillment: Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure membership packages are always stocked, including all other membership assets such as cards, lanyards, and shipping materials.
- Renewal Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with membership team in developing renewal strategies each quarter. Conduct monthly renewal calls as well as preparing renewal letters for mailing.
- Event Support: Assist with organizing and promoting events for members, ensuring engagement and participation. These include but are not limited to membership lounges, race viewing parties, as well as offsite activations.
- Admissions: Provide support to admissions department with scheduled shifts in the box office as well as Guest Services desk. Selling tickets, performing guest relations duties, providing necessary customer recovery actions, and working with admissions team to maintain optimum customer satisfaction to Hall of Fame guests.
- Social Media: Collaborate with the membership team as well as partnering departments to develop and edit content for Membership social media outlets.
- Reporting: Utilizing various membership reports to maintain exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate records.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements- 3-5 years' experience using computerized ticketing systems.
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience - High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Advanced knowledge of the Tessitura Network ticketing system is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Excel, and Word) is preferred.
Physical Demand- The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities are required including close vision. While performing this job, the employee may regularly sit, use hands to feel, talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Work Environment- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Frequently a fast-paced work environment.
Travel Required- This role may require up to 10% travel.
Scheduling - This role must have flexibility with scheduling with the ability to work weekdays and weekends based on business need.
