The
United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Support Specialist to assist our Membership and Customer Service Department.
Key Responsibilities: - Office Administration: Answer main phone line, greet visitors, manage office supplies, and maintain a welcoming lobby.
- Customer Service: Assist members with inquiries related to membership, horse registration, points, competitions, and awards.
- Membership Services: Process memberships, horse registrations, and transfers.
- Executive Office Support: Assist with event coordination, meeting logistics, and facility usage.
- Other Duties: Support special projects and staff recognition events.
Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of work experience; some college preferred.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of horse sports is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office equipment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasional after-hours and weekend work required.
- Hybrid - One day per week remote opportunity.
Additional Requirements: - Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift/move items and travel for events.
