POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the management of CareLink Member Services and its eligibility, enrollment, customer service, and member education functions. Responsible for the management of staff and educational needs required to perform assignments. Serves as a liaison between staff members, members, and the community to educate members and the community regarding benefits, requirements, and other components of the CareLink program. Must have sound knowledge of the schedule of benefits and how it relates to other funding sources. Responsible for expanding the image, awareness, and utilization of the University Health and the CareLink Program.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma is required. A bachelor's degree with coursework in business, healthcare administration, or related courses is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in a managed care environment is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience working with special populations, including interaction with Health and Human Services functions, is preferred. Healthcare customer service experience is preferred.
