Job Summary:
The Member Service Representative (MSR) will serve as the first point of contact for our members, providing high-quality customer service and support. The MSR will assist members with inquiries, resolve issues, and promote our products and services. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing member inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assist members with account-related questions, transactions, and services, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs.
- Resolve issues and concerns in a timely and efficient manner, escalating complex cases as needed.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company products and services to provide accurate information and recommendations to members.
- Process new member applications, account updates, and transaction requests in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Promote and educate members about additional services, products, and promotions that may benefit them.
- Document member interactions and transactions in the customer management system for accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Stay informed about industry trends and customer service best practices to improve service delivery.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficient in using computer systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and customer management software.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
