Member Service Representative is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include: - Providing in-person and telephone-based service, offering both general and detailed information about credit union products and services.
- Opening new accounts and guiding members through the membership process while ensuring compliance with all credit union policies and procedures (e.g., U.S. Patriot Act, OFAC).
- Assisting and advising members on opening share accounts, checking accounts, and share certificates.
- Balancing the teller drawer daily, including reconciling cash, received checks, and cashier's checks to ensure accuracy.
- Managing entertainment ticket inventory, processing check images for deposit, and reviewing mobile deposits for negotiability and acceptance.
- Handling all aspects of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), including opening Traditional and Roth IRAs, managing rollover accounts, and setting up periodic distributions.
Specific qualifications for the position include: - 2 years of experience in Credit Union or Banking.
- 3 years of customer service experience (Required).
- 2 years of cash handling experience (Required).
- Symitar experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Pay Rate Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
