Role & Responsibility: Tasks That Will Lead To Your Success
- Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a courteous and professional manner. Provide prompt, efficient and accurate service to the members - both in person and remotely.
- Respond to email or other electronic request submitted by members.
- Respond to member request, problems and complains and/or direct them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance.
- Open new accounts and service existing accounts. Set up new account files and provide members with all necessary information to establish their membership.
- Research accounts for discrepancies as required.
- Assist members in balancing their accounts and with their proper completion of payroll deduction and/or direct deposit forms.
- May be required to perform some duties of loan clerk which may include tracking of insurances, liens, etc.
- Perform other duties as necessary or requested
Skills & Experience: Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
- High School Diploma or GED
- Great communication skills
- Understanding of all credit union products and services and the ability to present and explain those products to members.
- Cash handling experience
- Knowledge of endorsements and negotiable instruments
- Previous teller experience a plus
