Member Services Representative II Hours: 38-40 hours a week, shiftsvary between the hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday- Friday and 8:30-12:30 Saturdays. This position will require up to 2 Saturdays a month.
Role: To assist member and potential members with their financial requests.This includes but not limitedto cash and non-cashdepository transactions and account opening and closing including accountsupport. Acts as a resource for members and employees betweenconsumer lending and retail banking processes.
Responsibilities:
- Greets each member in a courteous and professional manner.
- Receives and processes member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers,cashier's checks, money orders and cash advances.
- Verifies transactions, monitorsdeposit accounts, and examines documentsfor proper endorsement andnegotiability. Detects and resolvesdiscrepancies promptly.
- Accurately balance cash drawer and checks.
- Processes check orders,Instant Issue debit cards.
- Assisting members with opening new memberships: including new Certificates of deposit, checking accounts andsecondary accounts.
- Assist members with closing applicable accounts including deceasedaccounts.
- Completes wire transactions requests in a timely manner
- Research, reconcile and answers questionsfor account concernsand questions.
- Cross sells appropriate credit union productsand services.
- Answers phones and responds to member's requests,problems and complaints in a courteous and professionalmanner. If applicable, directs themto an appropriate person or department.
- Assist members with travel notes,completion of forms for disputedand fraudulent transactions.
- Completes mandatory forms such as CTRs.
- Reports suspicious memberactivity to managerfor completion of SARs.
- Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including processingname and address changes, filing, scanning, computer input, verifying scanning and auditingnew accounts.
- Accurately balance ATM
- Perform all dutieslisted above and other relatedduties as assigned.

- To balance at least 98% of the time
- To have no more than one postingerror per month.

Knowledge and Skills: Experience: 12-24 months of similaror related experience
Education: High schooleducation diploma or GED equivalent minimum
Interpersonal Skills: Must possessinterpersonal skills not limited to diplomacy, courtesy and tact for verbal and written discussions that involved givinginformation to membersor other departments
