The Penn State Cancer Institute at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center seeks a Melanoma/Sarcoma Oncologist. The successful candidate will join a very active and robust melanoma/sarcoma program and can tailor the position based on their area of focus and interest. The program offers patient care, clinical/translational research, and medical education. Its team includes dermatologists, surgical and orthopedic oncologists, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, dermatopathologists, genetic counselors, and specialized nurses who personalize treatment plans using advanced treatments and clinical trials.
About the Penn State Cancer InstituteThe Penn State Cancer Institute is accredited by the CoC and ACR as a cancer program. It is also central Pennsylvania's sole comprehensive cancer center, offering a robust clinical trial infrastructure and translational research facilities. Recently, the Institute acquired an MRIdian Linac that will significantly enhance the precision and accuracy of cancer treatment.
