Location: Lake Forest, IllinoisJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $70 - 80 per hourA leader in the biopharma space is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Writer to join their team. In this role, you will create and edit content for print and electronic media, supporting advertising, promotion, and communication efforts. This includes product and indication launches, sales collateral, convention exhibits, direct-to-physician and healthcare professional materials, direct-to-patient content, managed healthcare programs, videos, web/multimedia, internal communications, and more.As a strategic partner to the commercial and corporate teams, you will collaborate on the development of impactful communication materials and provide advice on content creation, all while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Responsibilities:Write and edit pharmaceutical and medical materials for various communication channels (print, digital, multimedia, etc.).Develop content for product and indication launches, sales collateral, convention exhibits, healthcare professional materials, and patient-facing content.Provide strategic direction and advice on communication materials, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Support the commercial team and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Medical, Regulatory, and Legal.Create engaging, consumer-friendly, external-facing content in collaboration with art directors and designers.Generate ideas and concepts for advertising and promotional campaigns.Ensure that all materials meet industry standards, including FDA guidelines and regulations.Provide ad hoc support for internal communications, sales training, incentive projects, and corporate communications.Work independently while managing multiple projects and adhering to tight deadlines.Collaborate with internal and external resources to produce high-quality, effective materials.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
