Shift: 7:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:


• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.


• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from any number of months.


• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.


• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.


• BSN completion preferred

Requirements:


• Candidates must have a District of Columbia license (required for submission).


• This role will require floating to multiple units


• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Rapid Response: Must start by 5/19 - DC license must be in hand to be considered for these start dates

No on-call requirement

Weekend rotation included, every other weekend - Required

Rotating shifts can vary between switching between days and nights within the same week and/or working a few weeks of days and then a few weeks of nights. Flexibility is a must

Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity

Required:

2 years of experience (MS/Tele, Surg/Tele)

Experience with wound care/wound vac and surgical drains

At least 1 travel assignment completed if less than 4 years of experience

Provides exceptional post-operative care for patients undergoing complex procedures

Common surgical procedures include reconstructive plastic surgery, diabetic limb salvage often with reconstructive flaps, complex wound management, and surgical wound care

Maximum days off: 7 days

2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
