Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 10 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units

Additional Details:
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Shift: Days/Nights, Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) or Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Weekends - variable based on unit needs
No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff
Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule
First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor
Floating to other Med/Surg and Oncology Units
Patient Diagnoses: Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Acute leukemias, Chronic Leukemias, Sickle Cell Disease, other non hem cancers and Other benign hematology
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Chemotherapy, Blood transfusions, IV Antibiotics, Oncologic emergencies: tumor lysis syndrome, cytokine release syndrome, Insulin drips, Heparin drips and Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
Skills Required: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Feeding tube care and management IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management and Starting IVs
RTO required with submission, must be built into contract
