Medical Support Partner - Full Time - Pueblo, CO Starting Pay Range: $16.68 - 19.62 per hour and considers preferred experience. Job Summary: A team member of nursing services who participates in the delivery of health care to the patients of Pueblo Community Health Center. Reports to: Clinical Nursing Manager Supervision Exercised: None Education/Experience/License/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in a related field preferred. Current B.L.S. with skills demonstration C.P.R. certification for Healthcare Providers required. Previous experience in a medical facility or caregiving environment preferred. Adhere to the guidelines and procedures of Pueblo Community Health Center, Inc. Assist Medical team members with direct patient care as needed, within scope of practice and with a demonstrated competency. Including but not limited to: Room patients, take and record vital signs (including height/weight), ask about medication and allergies and record in EHR. Assist with cleaning, wrapping and sterilization procedures for sterile instruments used. Relay information to patients and medical team members within scope of practice and with a demonstrated competency. Assist with case management programs as requested. Follow scheduling procedures for providers. Schedule patient appointments. Use clinical workflows and document information appropriately within electronic patient charts. Access, use and update clinical data from various outside agencies. Fax correspondence to outside agencies and follow Health Information Management procedures. Follow clinical lab procedures including Point of Care Testing within your scope of practice and with a demonstrated competency. Maintain compliance with all Nursing and Infection Control Policies and Procedures at clinical sites. Maintain stock and supplies in exam rooms per policy and procedure. Manage daily workflows to ensure timely completion of daily tasks. Adhere to Nursing policies and procedures Ensure all clinical information is entered into and maintained within patient record accurately. Maintain CPR certification. Have knowledge and understanding of safety and security practices implemented at PCHC. Maintain patient confidentiality. Participate in morning huddles, department, and organizational meetings. Check refrigerator temperatures and document. Responsible for accurate and timely completion of time and attendance activities. Follow organization and departmental call off procedure.
